In an announcement at COP29, CFAN shares that building on success in the Pacific and Caribbean, the network will now be expanding into the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Republic of Congo, and Cameroon.

Building on the success of mobilizing millions in climate finance in Pacific SIDS since 2021, at COP28 in Dubai the Climate Finance Access Network launched its Caribbean chapter with support from Canada and the United States.

CFAN is scaling its impact in the Pacific: in partnership with the Global Green Growth Institute and the Pacific Community, CFAN Advisors will be extending their tenure an additional three years as well as being placed into four new locations in the region.

CFAN convened partners, regional stakeholders, and its Pacific advisor cohort in Suva, Fiji to advance a diverse pipeline of regional climate projects.

CFAN welcomed its first cohort of advisors in the Pacific and kicked off the launch of its state-of-the-art training program.
