→ Conducting a market assessment for CFAN’s training program’s fee for service model

Seeking a partner (agency or individual) to help conduct a market assessment for a fee-for-service model that CFAN is exploring for its training program. The market assessment will formally determine the demand for CFAN’s trainings, estimate the revenue potential, and the expected impact and synergetic results with the overall CFAN program.CFAN will be developing new training content on sources of finance for non-ODA eligible islands and territories.

→ Technical Assistance: Kiribati

Despite the urgency and priority, Kiribati lacks technical data to develop a robust and evidence- based proposal for access to clean energy in remote islands of the country. As such, the request for technical assistance funding aims collate fit-for purpose information for the ten remote islands through technical studies which will then inform the development of a full funding proposal. This project focuses specifically on solar PV system design, acquiring new systems, and deployment in a cost-effective manner on the remote islands of Kiribati.

→ Technical Assistance: Papua New Guinea

The proposed project aims to enhance access to clean water supply for Djual island and Tigak islands in Papua New Guinea with a combined total population of 4,000 people. It will also look for opportunities to pilot innovative water technology to enhance resilience of urban populations in the main town to generate best practices and lessons learned for scaling up. This technical assistance aims to develop a needs assessment in target locations to engage with relevant stakeholders, identify needs and gaps, as well as compare water technology options to determine the most viable and cost-effective way to improve water security in the target communities.
