By cultivating a community of highly skilled and embedded climate finance advisors, CFAN aims to unlock access to climate finance at scale in developing countries. CFAN advisors are hired locally and work in countries for up to two years on a tailored mandate co-developed by host countries and CFAN, focusing on project finance and design.

Meet Vanuatu's Advisor

Anthony Polack   

Background:

Anthony has over 20 years’ professional experience in the energy and climate change sectors, having worked for the United Nations (UNDP, UNEP, UNFCCC), Commonwealth Secretariat, Pacific Community (SPC), German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), and the Australian, British, Fijian, Vanuatu and Palauan governments. He is a Certified Expert in Climate and Renewable Energy Finance. 

Projects:  

Anthony is based in Vanuatu with a targeted mandate to access international and domestic sources of public and private finance, and to structure finance for investment in Vanuatu’s priority mitigation and adaptation projects.
